Please do check the client and dog eligibility on the website before applying as your application will be rejected if it does not meet our criteria.

What we do
Dog A.I.D. (Assistance in Disability) works with physically Disabled people to coach them to train their own pet dog, utilising the bond that already exists between the owner and their pet, to become an Assistance Dog partnership accredited by Assistance Dogs International (ADI).
Shop

so may take longer than expected to reach you.

We have over 90 approved volunteer trainers based throughout the UK and we always need more!
We recruit professional dog trainers who are able to show a history of practical experience backed by theory based knowledge.
All travelling expenses are paid and a mentoring system is available. We offer CPD opportunities through our subsidised workshops 2 – 4 times per year.
